Weekly Community Walk/Run in Downtown Taos
This summer, something new is bringing energy and connection to downtown Taos. Meet Me at McCarthy’s is a free weekly walk, jog, or run event held every Monday evening from 5–7 PM, starting May 19 through September 29.
Beginning at McCarthy Plaza — just steps from the historic Taos Plaza — participants can choose from 1, 2, or 3-mile routes through the heart of town. Whether you’re walking with friends, jogging with your dog, or running solo, this event is all about community, fun, and moving at your own pace.
Enjoy music, water stations, and a raffle drawing every week at 6:30 PM. Come once or join us all summer long — there are prizes for regular participants, but absolutely no pressure for distance or speed.
Open to all ages and fitness levels. Leashed dogs welcome. Let’s make Monday the best night of the week. More details coming soon!
